Nikki Jutte

Nikki Juttenikki@adventureyachts.com

Nikki Jutte began her affinity with boats and the sea at a very young age. Her father, an avid sailboat racer, took the family cruising up to Canada every summer. They started making the annual trips on a 36’ Sloop, and eventually moved up to a 52’ Chris Craft. She bought her own sailboat when she was in her twenties, and sold it when she met her husband Pat. Pat and Nikki lived aboard several sailboats for 13 years, before deciding to move inland.

Nikki and Pat Jutte decided to combine their love of boats with work, and have owned & operated yacht brokerages together since 1986.

Nikki is a member of the Northwest Yacht Broker Association and a Certified Professional Yacht Broker.

Marvin Nielson

Marvin Nielsonmarvin@adventureyachts.com

Marvin Nielson has loved boats his entire life. In 1984 he made it official. He signed on with Sundance of Portland Or., and then he moved to Seattle in 1997. During his tenure as a yacht salesman, his duties have ranged from salesman to vice president of sales. He’s sold primarily four brands—Carver/Californian, Marquis, Navigator, and Chris Craft.

Marvin’s destiny developed in childhood—his family always owned boats. By age 13, he passed his first US Power Squadron course at the old Tacoma Yacht Club building. By age 14, he landed his first maritime job as a deckhand on a sport fishing charter boat in Westport, Washington. And by high school, he bought his first boat, a17ft Chris Craft Cavalier Runabout.

Over the years, Marvin has sold hundreds of boats, so he brings a lifetime of expertise and experience to his customers. Whether or not you know the bow from the stern, he will inspire and guide your inner skipper into the right decision. He loves boats, he loves people who love boats and loves the people he works with. Last year, when Marvin retired, he found he missed the business too much. So he went back to work. Poets pen fancy words about why men love boats, but Marvin keeps it simple. When he gets up in the morning, he’s still excited about going to work. Please stop by Adventure Yachts and rekindle your friendship…..

Larry Clark

Maurice Spence •

I have been a water person all of my life. My fondest boyhood memories are of floating down the creek on a couple of logs we tied together. Many years later my wife and I own a Tollycraft 40’ tricabin, just a more expensive log raft.

I am an officer in the Poulsbo Yacht Club where we enjoy cruising on formal club cruises and then taking off in the summer with an informal club flotilla.

I‘ve tried several different careers, but keep coming back to boating. So for the last ten years I have admitted that I’m hooked on selling boats. My great joy is finding that special boat for someone and seeing their excitement when they go aboard “their boat”.
